Books
We need your help! We get many requests for similar types of books. As a result we are particularly in need of the following but accept all varieties of paperback books:
- Self-help
- Recent non-textbook medical: AIDS/HIV and Hepatitis C
- Recovery/addiction
- Meditation/yoga
- Daily affirmations
- Spiritual/religion (Wicca especially needed)
- Parenting
- Dictionaries
- Blank soft-cover journals
- African-American fiction
- Chicano fiction
- Lesbian/queer fiction
- Latin American history & culture
We can only accept paperback books. If you have books to donate, please email us to arrange a time when they can be dropped off or stop by our space between 2-5pm every Sunday. We’re located at 950 W. Newport Avenue (at the corner of Sheffield, Clark, and Newport).
Monetary Contributions
Direct monetary contributions are always appreciated. In addition to postage and office supplies, we also pay a fee for a space to store the books. We are now accepting donations via paypal. Click here to donate.
