Watch a Powerful Film about The Cost of the Drug War

Many of the women who request books from CBWP are behind bars because of nonviolent drug offenses. The sentences they are serving are the human cost of the United States’ failed war on drugs.

To better understand this issue, we encourage you to watch “The House I Live In.” This eye-opening documentary showcases the experiences of many people who have been caught in the crossfire of this inhumane, unjust, and expensive campaign of prohibition.

It is available streaming from a variety of sources. Please watch it today.
